Heather Wright ND FABNO

 

Dr. Wright is a naturopathic oncologist and Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO) with 20 years of experience in integrative oncology, and 12 years working in hospital-based oncology teams. Throughout her career Dr. Wright has led the development of integrative clinical programs and has team-trained fellows in 2-year, hospital-based, integrative oncology education programs. Dr. Wright is compassionate in helping people access evidence-based, natural therapies with a focus on improving quality and quantity of life. Dr. Wright recommends tools to incorporate into each day, to support vitality and to create a healthy body terrain. Dr. Wright is licensed as a naturopathic doctor by the state of Vermont and sees clients worldwide via teleconsultation for video and phone visits. 

 

 

Meghan Zech ND FABNO

 

Dr. Meghan Zech is a naturopathic physician with advanced training in integrative oncology and a deep commitment to whole person cancer care. Her journey began with a fascination in healing properties of plants and a curiosity about the intricate balance of the natural world. She completed a 2 year residency in integrative oncology and became a Fellow of the American Boad of Naturopathic Oncology. She is also a member of the Herbalists Guild. Dr. Zech integrates clinical research, plant medicine and modern oncology to create individualized care plans. Her clinical focus includes nutrition, lifestyle medicine, herbal and nutrient support, metabolic health, nervous system regulation and survivorship care. Dr. Zech enjoys working with people in survivorship care and has a special interest in optimizing the body terrain and supporting recovery, fostering resilience and supporting goals in long term health.  Dr. Zech sees patients via telehealth and is not offering in-person visits.  

 

 

Liz Curran, Cancer Health Coach

 

Liz is a nationally board-certified health coach who is passionate about helping people living with cancer integrate the 10 Healing Factors into their lives in meaningful and sustainable ways. She was inspired to become a health coach after caring for her sister during an aggressive breast cancer diagnosis in 2014. During this time, she recognized how essential guidance is for people navigating a cancer journey. Believing there had to be a roadmap to help people play a more empowered role in their health, she trained as a Radical Remission Health Coach and is now passionate about helping people living with cancer integrate the 10 Healing Factors into their lives in meaningful and sustainable ways.  

Liz holds a Master of Science in International Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University (1999), a health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (2017), and certification from the Radical Remission Project (2019). Liz is nationally board certified by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (2020). 

 

Shanita Mills, Practice Coordinator

 

Shanita Mills is an executive professional who serves as the primary point of contact for patients and outreach to Good Apple Wellness. Shanita responds to phone calls, voicemails and text messages via the practice phone line and recieves emails and faxes for Dr. Wright. Shanita can help with scheduling and guide you in ensuring your records are received and uploaded to the portal for review before your appointments. In general Shanita can help answer questions about how our practice works, and is a welcoming and compassionate individual.
